Dr. Ashley Brissette, award-winning NYC ophthalmologist

Dr. Brissette is a New York City based eye physician and surgeon specializing in cataract surgery with advanced technology lenses and custom vision correction including laser, EVO ICL and SMILE. She serves as a media spokesperson for the American Academy of Ophthalmology and is the team ophthalmologist for the New York Rangers NHL hockey team. She is also the founder of Daily Practice by Dr. B, the first ophthalmologist-created skincare line specifically designed for the delicate eye area.

Biography

Ashley Brissette, MD MSc FRCSC ABO completed her medical training and Master’s degree at McGill University (Great Distinction) and Queen’s University in Canada. She went on to pursue an advanced fellowship in cornea, cataract, and laser vision correction surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine in Manhattan.

After more than a decade as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Weill Cornell NewYork-Presbyterian and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where she taught, published extensively, and built a reputation for surgical excellence, Dr. Brissette transitioned to Kelly Vision. She now focuses on advanced cataract and vision correction surgery with a specialized expertise in dry eye disease and ocular surface treatments.

Dr. Brissette is double board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. She is a media spokesperson for the American Academy of Ophthalmology and lectures internationally on cataract surgery and innovations in eye care. She has authored numerous scientific publications and textbook chapters.
