Dr. Brissette is an eye physician and surgeon, based in New York City. She focuses on cataract and laser vision correction surgery. She is a media spokesperson for the American Academy of Ophthalmology and is the ophthalmologist for the New York Rangers NHL hockey team.

Ashley Brissette, MD MSc FRCSC ABO completed her medical training and masters degree from McGill University (Great Distinction) and Queen’s University in Canada. She then completed an advanced fellowship in cornea, cataract & laser vision surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine in Manhattan. Dr. Brissette is an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Weill Cornell Medicine and New York Presbyterian Hospital, New Yorks #1 hospital. She also serves as instructor at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital. Dr. Brissette is double board certified by both the American Board of Ophthalmology and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Dr. Brissette is a media spokesperson for the American Academy of Ophthalmology and also presents globally on topics related to cataract surgery. She has contributed extensively to the medical literature, authoring numerous textbook chapters and scientific publications.

Dr. Brissette has a two-fold philosophy to patient care:
